2.PAHAMI BUKU PANDUAN AKADEMIK
Buatlah strategi dan persiapan anda sebelum mengambil mata kuliah dengan cara memahami buku panduan akademik. Jangan sampai ditahun- tahun akhir masa perkuliahan anda masih saja mengejar ketertinggalan dalam mengambil dan memperbaiki mata kuliah yang kurang optimal anda capai.
3.KENALI KARAKTER BELAJAR AGAN
Cara belajar di dunia kampus jauh berbeda dengan sewaktu kita belajar di sekolah menengah. Dosen pun kadang terlambat atau bahkan tidak hadir dalam perkuliahan. 4.BUAT RENCANA KESUKSESAN AKADEMIK
Semester pertama kuliah : Fokus mendapatkan IP yang sangat bagus agar bisa menopang nilai-nilai yang kurang baik disemester berikutnya. Misalnya saja 4,0 dan mencoba-coba beberapa organisasimahasiswa yang sesuai dengan bakat dan hobi anda.
Semester kedua kuliah : IP minimal 3,5 dan mulai serius berorganisasi.
Begitupun dengan semester berikutnya, buatlah rencana sebelum anda melakukan sesuatu hal.Bukankah kita sudah belajar tentang Planning dalam Ilmu Manajemen.
Orang yang ingin melalukan perjalanan kesuatu tempat, apabila ia tak punya arah dan perencanaan yang jelas. Maka ia tak akan pernah bisa mencapai tempat tujuannya.
5.BANYAK MEMBACA DAN BERLATIH
Membaca bermanfaat untuk memperluas ilmu dan wawasan. Berlatih membuat kita terampil dalam suatu bidang. Sering-seringlah berkunjung ke perpustakaan atau toku buku. Mula-mula kita yang menciptakan kebiasaan, selanjutnya kebiasaanlah yang menciptakan kita. Tentulah kita semua mengetahui keutamaan ilmu dibandingkan dengan harta. Ilmu menjaga diri, sedangkan harta kitalah yang menjaganya, ilmu tidak akan habis jika diberikan, bahkan bertambah. Sedangkan harta akan habis jika dibagi.
Orang-orang yang berhenti belajar akan menjadi pemilik masa lalu. Orang-orang yang masih terus belajar, akan menjadi pemilik masa depan
6.MILIKILAH ORANG-ORANG HEBAT DISEKELILING KITA
Anda hari ini, adalah cerminan anda 5 tahun yang akan datang. Kecuali beberapa hal, salah satunya adalah siapa teman anda saat ini? Maka carilah SAHABAT yang baik dan berkarakter, yang selalu menyemangati anda saat lemah dan terjatuh, mendukung setiap mimpi yang anda bangun, dan berlomba-lomba dalam kebaikan.
Orang yang bodoh adalah orang-orang yang tidak mempunyai sahabat. Dan orang yang sangat bodoh adalah mereka yang menyia-nyiakan sahabat yang ia punya.
7.HATI- HATILAH DENGAN JEBAKAN LINGKUNGAN
Lingkungan kos-kosan pun sedikit banyak berpengaruh pada pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Sebaiknya carilah kos-kosan atau kontrakan yang tidak terlalu dekat dan tidak terlalu jauh dengan kampus, aman dan memenuhi standar kesehatan, lingkungan yang mendukung dan dekat dengan masjid atau mushola.
8.TANYA PADA ORANG YANG SUDAH BERPENGALAMAN
Pengalaman adalah guru yang paling baik. Dengan bertanya kita dapat mengefisienkan energi dari kesalahan-kesalahan yang tidak perlu kita lakukan. Mulailah bertanya pada kakak-kakak tingkat yang pernah terlebih dahulu mengalami dan merasakan mata kuliah yang akan diambil.
9.MILIKI WAKTU BELAJAR KHUSUS SETIAP HARI
Ukurlah kemampuan diri untuk menguasai mata kuliah tertentu dan buatlah alokasi waktu untuk mempelajarinya setiap hari. Luangkan waktu biarpun sedikit yang penting terus menerus untuk mengulang pelajaran yang sudah didapatkan dikampus maupun mempelajari materi yang akan diajarkan keesokan harinya. Berprinsiplah untuk beberapa langkah Lebih maju dari mahasiswa yang lainnya.

Siapakanlah diri dan berniatlah untuk hadir kuliah demi mendapatkan ilmu yang bermanfaat.Tulislah setiap inti materi, lebih baik membuat rangkuman setiap materi yang akan dipelajari, aktiflah bertanya jika masih ada yang tidak dimengerti jangan disimpan didalam hati saja, boleh jadi dosen mengenal kita karena sering bertanya.
Jangan takut apa yang kita tanyakan adalah pertanyaan yang tidak berkualitas dan tidak berbobot atau semua orang sudah tahu dengan jawabannya.Yakinlah, bahwa kita belajar bukan untuk dilihat dan dinilai orang lain, namun untuk mendapatkan ilmu secara utuh.
11.BUAT DOSEN KENAL NAMA DAN POTENSI ANDA
Tidak perlu dibuat-buat dengan kedekatan yang nampak seperti menjilat agar mendapatkan nilai yang bagus. Tunjukan saja prestasi terbaik kita, bersilaturahim dan berbuat baiklah kepada mereka ( Dosen ), karena esensi dan hakikatnya mereka adalah guru yang telah mengajarkan ilmu berharga untuk masa depan kita. Ingatlah bahwa, barang siapa yang memuliakan penduduk bumi, maka penduduk langit akan memuliakannya.
Selain itu, duduklah di kursi depan dekat dengan sumber ilmu, tegakkan bahu, condongkan 5 cm kedepan, anggukan kepala setiap kita memahami dan tersenyumlah dengan tulus. Bukankah kita tahu, orang dihargai, karena ia belajar untuk menghargai orang lain.
